about

Coeden's debut on the label is embryonic dub and otherworldly electronics plugged into the undergrowth and fed through electrical storms and molecules clutching onto a dying planet. A standalone release that avoids uneasy categorisation, it's out now on Natural Sciences Recs.

"Hovering between the seen and the unseen" is a sonic vision that is undefined and with no form. A flux of dynamic elements in which delays and reverbs dispel recurring loops in a dark dub mood.

The “between” is what opens the sound narration from the inside and, allowing passage through it, keeps it deployed. Everything is vague and drab, not keeping something in check, not letting something go. An atmosphere is diffuse, disseminated, dispersed, elusive: its presence cannot be isolated into determinate elements, it is both sparse and undelimitable, between “there is” - “there is not”. So the album is like an oneiric journey between evanescent and undefined worlds.
